Getting the Measure of the Experience Sampling Method: Advancing Measurement for a More Robust Science of Daily Life
The Experience Sampling Method (ESM) enables us to assess dynamic psychological processes in daily life. However, ESM is something of a measurement ‘Wild West’, threatening the replicability and robustness of ESM research. Our symposium tackles ESM measurement challenges, including assessing reliability, measuring zero-inflated constructs, and determining ESM item quality.
