Cognitive Control and Its Operationalization: Considerations from Clinical, Experimental, and Developmental Psychology Perspectives
Cognitive control is a well-studied construct. However, its definition and measurement lacks consistency. This symposium brings together different perspectives on its operationalization and measurement. This symposium will discuss how self-reports and tasks capture unique versus shared variance of cognitive control, and its implications for clinical, experimental and developmental psychological research.
