Psychopathic Personality: Clarifying the Roles of Fear and Sadism
Psychopathic traits are among the primary risk factors for violent delinquency and offense recidivism. The symposium combines three talks (plus discussion) that elucidate the appraisal of fear and compare psychopathy with trait sadism. The methodological approaches comprise self-report assessment and experimental data (approach-avoidance task, response toward first-person video clips).
