Parent-Led Interventions to Improve Memory and Mental State Understanding in School-Age Autistic Children.
School-age autistic children experience difficulties in memory and mental state understanding Elaborative reminiscence is a parental strategy that enhances these two functions in typical individuals but has not been used with autistic populations. We report findings of the first pilot studies of elaborative reminiscence interventions with this population.
