This leadership symposium covers innovative and interdisciplinary methodologies to study the effectiveness and mechanisms underlying transformational and charismatic leaders. Our diverse set of mixed-method empirical approaches and studies (longitudinal, cognitive task, and neuroimaging data and AI applications) integrates expertise across research fields, elucidating the capacities of transformational and charismatic leaders.
