Belief Updating in Emotional Disorders
Anxiety and depression are prevalent mental disorders associated with significant impairment. Classical theory and research focused on cognitive biases as maintaining factors of these conditions. Recent research suggests updating difficulties as an additional mechanism. This symposium seeks to explore recent findings and methodological approaches to updating in anxiety and depression.
