Longitudinal Neuroimaging As a Key Avenue to Understanding Cognitive Development: Recent Findings across Four Cohorts.
Brain structure and function change continuously across the lifespan, and these changes are closely tied with changes in cognition. Cross-sectional studies are poorly suited to capture the complex interplay between brain and behaviour. This symposium highlights cutting edge insights from large, longitudinal cohorts linking brain changes to changes in cognition.
