Putting Parent-Child Interactions in Their Sociocultural Context
By drawing upon a diversity disciplines, including developmental, social, cross-cultural psychology, and sociology and gender studies, the present symposium seeks to put parent-child interactions into its broader sociocultural context. In particular, the contributions focus on the different ways in which sociocultural norms may shape and affect the socialization process.
