Mind Wandering in Children and Adolescents: What We Know and What We Need to Learn

The link between mind wandering and learning has been studied extensively in adult populations. Yet, despite its clear educational significance, there is a striking evidence gap on the impact of mind wandering on learning in children. We will outline recent developments and future directions in this important area of study.
