From Exclusion to Inclusion: Negative Effects of Masculine Workplace Norms and How to Fix Them
This symposium features research demonstrating the negative effects of masculine norms in the workplace on interpersonal relationships, early career (especially female) academics’ sense of fit and well-being, and women’s closeness to other women. The final talk demonstrates how masculine work cultures can be transformed to promote gender inclusivity.
