Ethical Issues in Deceptive Research: Experimental Evidence, Researcher Perspectives and Participant Perspectives
This symposium addresses the issue of deceptive research from three perspectives: (1) experimental evidence for the effectiveness of post-deception debriefing; (2) researcher perspectives on ethical deception; and (3) participant perspectives on taking part in deceptive research. The symposium will provide concrete recommendations for researchers working in this field.
