East, West, and the Rest: Exploring Psychological Variation across the Globe
Psychological science has largely been Western. However, intensive efforts are underway to uncover psychological variations in the rest of the globe, including East Asian, Sub-Saharan African, Arab, South Asian, and Latin American cultural zones. This symposium brings together some of the most notable efforts for theoretical exploration and integration.
