Building Bridges between Evaluative Learning and Impression Formation: Conceptual and Empirical Intersections
We present work at the intersection of evaluative learning (forming [dis]likes based on environmental regularities) and impression formation (making assumptions on people’s character from observable features/behaviors). By investigating conceptual and empirical commonalities between these two — seemingly different — literatures, this symposium aims to generate novel perspectives facilitating cross-domain research.
