Dampening and Devaluing Positivity in Depression: Meta-Analytic, Survey-Based, and Experimental Evidence of a Key Phenomenon
This symposium features presentations of meta-analytic, survey-based, and experimental evidence that speak to the importance of devaluation and dampening of reward and positivity when conceptualizing depression. Lastly, our speakers and the symposium chairs will together discuss the presentations’ findings within a comparative context of positivity dampening and devaluation of reward.
