Inflammation and Depression: Causal Relationships and Potential Mechanisms
Inflammation has been reliably linked to depressive symptomology in both human and non-human animal models. In this symposium, we will highlight how studies using a variety of methods (e.g., longitudinal association, ex vivo stimulation, rodent models, neuroimaging) are informing our understanding of the association between inflammation and depression.
