Fostering Equity, Executive Functions, and Math Conceptual Understanding: A Multi-Year Intervention with Black and Latinx Middle School Students
Mathematical Thinkers Like Me (MLM) is a first-of-its-kind intervention that is implementing an original online collaborative problem-solving and storytelling context to test if it facilitates equity-based psychological and executive function mechanisms underlying math conceptual understanding. This symposium reports and discusses emerging findings that lay the groundwork for MLM’s intervention outcomes.
