Flipping the Switch: New Insights into How People Dynamically Update Their Emotion Regulation Strategy Choices
Emotion regulation is a complex decisional task that underlies mental health functioning. This symposium brings together psychologists with quantitative, developmental, cognitive, and clinical perspectives to offer new insights into how people dynamically choose between emotion regulation strategies across contexts to ultimately better address the urgent societal problem of mental illness.
