Innovations in Improving the Validity of Ecological Momentary Assessment
Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) is on the rise in many areas in psychology. Current measurement practices are best described as a “free-for-all”. The validity of measurement is largely unexplored, threatening inferences of many findings. In this symposium, we tackle the topic of EMA validation from theoretical, statistical, and empirical perspectives.
