The Protective Role of Interpersonal Support in Times of Crisis: A Developmental, Cross-Cultural, and Socioeconomic Analysis of Social Relationships during COVID-19
This Symposium presents three empirical studies that investigate the protective role of interpersonal support at different levels of the socio-ecological system in mitigating COVID-19 related distress. The studies take a developmental, cross-cultural, and socioeconomically diverse perspective to examine how social connections can buffer against distress during times of crisis.
