Reducing Inequality: Cooperation Along Group Lines

Can cooperation along group lines reduce inequality? This symposium addresses several individual and institutional manifestations of cooperation between social groups, that facilitate processes towards greater equality. Findings from field and survey experiments, conducted in the U.S. and in Israel along racial/ethnic or gender lines, will be presented and discussed.
