Coming Together to Reduce Loneliness: Leveraging Multimodal Data and Methods to Understand Loneliness, Its Consequences, and Its Treatment
Loneliness is an urgent public health concern whose causes and consequences cut across domains of psychology. This symposium brings together researchers from across social, cognitive, and clinical psychology who are using diverse methods to better understand loneliness and to improve our ability to address this pressing psychological and societal problem.
