Fees, Calories, and Uncertainties: The Psychology of Information Disclosure in Finance, Health, and Law
This symposium advances our understanding of the psychology of information disclosure. A panel spanning academia, industry, and government presents four research projects across consumer finance, law, and health. Interventions tested range from subtle wording cues to comprehensive disclosure redesigns, and diverse methodologies examine comprehension, engagement, perceptions, and ultimately, product choice.
