Abstract
Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a pervasive problem among college students. IPV perpetration is associated with dark triad traits, antisocial behaviors, difficulty regulating emotions, and perspective taking. This study extends research by testing which motives for IPV are related to these risk factors and if correlates vary by gender.
