Abstract
As of December 2022, COVID-19 vaccines prevented approximately 3.25 million deaths in the U.S. We found fear of the COVID-19 virus and COVID-19 vaccines predict COVID-19 vaccine uptake. This effect was stronger in those higher vs. lower on EI abilities. This has implication for increasing vaccine uptake in the population.
