The Influence of Prior Exposure to Weapons on the Weapon Focus Effect

The current study aims to investigate the influence of gun ownership on the weapon focus effect. Previous research suggests that the presence of a weapon during a crime can decrease accuracy of memory reports, however, there is little research that has examined if gun ownership influences these results.
