Abstract
Undergraduate student volunteers judged the veracity of news headlines that are liberal-leaning, conservative-learning, or apolitical after watched a video clip that threats liberal or conservative political identity. Analysis of preliminary data (N = 96) suggested that Conservatives believed more conservative-leaning headlines in the conservative-threat condition compared to the other conditions.
