Abstract

The relationship between adverse experiences and harmful alcohol use behaviors is relevant to the prevention, screening, and treatment of Latine people. This research supports that adverse childhood experiences are predictive of harmful alcohol use among young Latine people, with a significant link to ruminative thought styles.
