Biopsychosocial-Spiritual Model: Its Application to the Quality of Life of People with Sickle Cell Disease

Abstract
The management of sickle cell disease requires a multidisciplinary team for better outcomes. The study conducted among SCD patients accessing care at the clinical genetics department of the Korle Bu teaching Hospital revealed that care focuses immensely on the biological aspect of life, with little emphasis on other domains.
