Abstract
We tested the hypothesis that inconsistent handers would have stronger conceptual knowledge than consistent handers due to recruitment of right hemisphere processes that promote cognitive flexibility and thematic knowledge. Participants read two articles and answered conceptual and factual questions. Inconsistent handers had significantly higher conceptual scores than consistent handers.
