Abstract
In a study of 9- and-10-year-old children (48% female) and follow-up two-years later, the best-fitting path analysis model revealed significant longitudinal bidirectional associations between not only parent-to-child, but also child-to-parent internalizing psychopathology. Bidirectional associations were present across all parent-child sex dyads and regardless of levels of parental acceptance.
