The Moderating Role of Theory of Mind in Canadian and Iranian Emerging Adolescents' Emotional Competence and Empathy

With high Emotional Competence: low ToM predicted high levels of Empathy, while high and moderate levels of ToM predicted low levels of Empathy in Canadian emerging adolescents. We expect cultural influence to show a different pattern in the relationship between ToM, Emotional Competency and Empathy in Iranian adolescents.
