Abstract

The present study examined autoregressive and cross-lagged effects of deliberate self-harm (DSH) and rumination. Past rumination and the average lagged ruminative and DSH tendencies predicted future DSH whereas past DSH, suicide attempts, and the group's average ruminative tendencies predicted future rumination. Clinical implications will be discussed.
