Abstract
The current study examined relationships among sociodemographic characteristics, parent attitudes toward child emotions, and child emotion outcomes in families experiencing homelessness. Findings indicated that child race and parental emotion coaching each uniquely predicted observed child distress, but not teacher-reported emotion regulation, in young children experiencing adversity.
