Abstract
This analysis examines the relationships among negative reactivity to peer rejection in daily life, loneliness and depressive symptoms in a longitudinal sample of adolescent girls. Findings show that loneliness and in vivo negative reactivity to peer rejection independently contribute to depressive symptom severity, with implications for the etiology of depression.
