Abstract
Young adults' (n = 349) perceived stress was related to their anxiety levels one year later after controlling for their initial anxiety levels. Meaning in life and self-compassion both moderated the effects of perceived stress on their anxiety one year later during the pandemic after controlling for pre-pandemic anxiety scores.
