Income-to-Needs Ratio Relates to Perseverative Tendencies in Preschool Children

Abstract
In this study, we attempted to better understand the relationship between family socioeconomic status and executive functions in preschool children. Lower family income-to-needs ratio predicted higher perseverative behaviors in children, or higher tendency to adhere to the pre-switch rule in the switching task.
