Higher Mindfulness Is Associated with Reduced Viewing of Chosen Distractor Faces

Abstract
Participants completed a visual associative memory task while having their eye movements monitored. Participants also completed three mindfulness questionnaires. Participants spent more time viewing selected targets than distractors. Mindfulness was not associated with memory accuracy or viewing of target faces but was associated with reduced viewing of selected distractor faces.
