Role of Family Conflict, Sex Differences, and Income in Survival Analysis of Delay of Gratification in Early Childhood

Abstract
This study used survival analyses to examine sex differences in 5-year-olds on a delay of gratification task. Family conflict at age 3 was hypothesized to significantly increase the odds of the children peeking or touching the gift earlier. No differences were found when income was included as a covariate.
