Evaluating the Effectiveness of a Written Autobiographical Mood Induction Procedure

Experimental research explores the effectiveness of a mood induction procedure where participants write about positive or negative past life experiences. Results demonstrate the mood induction procedure is effective regardless of one's negative trait affect but its effectiveness may be somewhat limited with participants scoring low in positive trait affect.
