Perception of Affordances in Images: Just like the Real World

Abstract
This two-part study begins the creation of a database of affordances for objects and investigates affordance perception in images. Different image types (environmental scenes or individual objects) will be shown briefly, with participants responding in a forced-choice manner (action or adjective) to what they perceive in the image primary.
