Abstract
Do emotional faces draw attention in the same way as emotional voices? We developed a novel task of attentional bias to emotional information conveyed in the vocal modality: the auditory dot-probe. Findings reveal attentional biases towards happy (over neutral) facial expressions, but towards neutral (over happy) vocal expressions.
