Abstract

Adolescents' general identity development has been widely researched; however, little is known about factors that influence identity development, especially for queer, gifted students. The current study examines the experiences of adolescents' developing queer, gifted identities. Findings suggest that protective and risk factors exist that promote or disrupt identity development.
