Abstract
The cognitive fit theory suggests that immersive VR is conducive to 3D graph comprehension. Experiment 1 reported that HMD reduced the time to respond to 3D graph comprehension questions. Contrary to the preregistered hypothesis, Experiment 2 did not find meaningful differences in completion time for stereoscopy and/or immersion.
