Abstract

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is diagnosed more among sexual minorities (SM), possible due to conflation of SM-group norms with BPD. We tested whether BPD may be 'easier' to endorse among SM in large epidemiological sample. We found chronic self-injury and impulsive sexual behavior were easier to endorse for SM.
