Improving Emotional, Cognitive, and Behavioral Outcomes in PTSD Using Emotion Regulation Therapy and Neurofeedback Training

Prolonged exposure to traumatic stress has adverse effects on emotion regulation ability and cognitive processing. The following proposal aims to assess the extent of damage caused in brain regions and neural circuitry linking emotions and memory, and exploring the reversibility of damage using a combined intervention method.
