Perfectionism's Role between Trait Anxiety and Academic Performance

Both anxiety and maladaptive perfectionism negatively affect academic performance. Theproposed study will examine whether the relation between anxiety and academic performancemay be mediated by maladaptive perfectionism. The results of the proposed study may suggestimplementing interventions for students with maladaptive perfectionistic behaviors to improveacademic performance.
