Using Time-Varying Dynamics to Predict Future Outcomes

Previous research showed that emotion dynamics of romantic couples predict future relationship outcomes. Yet those models assumed dynamics that were time-invariant, which is unlikely to hold. Our work showed how change in emotion dynamics can predict relationship dissolution and relationship quality, above and beyond the mean level of those dynamics.
