Social Comparison Theory and Social Identity Theory on Health-Related Outcomes in College-Aged Females

Can TikTok inspire healthy behavior or do the videos reduce motivation to work out and eat healthily? The proposed study will examine social comparison and social identity theories and provide insight into which theory predicts the impact of TikTok viewing on self-esteem, body image, motivation, and healthy behavior.
