Identification with All of Humanity (IWAH) Predicts Extraordinary Altruism

We recruited 27 altruistic kidney donors and 56 demographically-similar controls to complete the Identification with All of Humanity Scale (IWAH; McFarland et al., 2012). We found that for every point higher in IWAH humanity, subjects were 80% more likely to be classified as an altruist than a control.
