Using Music to Learn: The Relationship between Meditative Music and Retrieval of Information

The current study examines the use of music in learning and memory retrieval. This exploratory study seeks to examine the potential impact of context-dependent learning via music in encoding semantic information. Results indicate that music has situational inconsistency and is not significantly related to increased efficacy in memory retrieval.
